Summary:
Bought this alternator for my 2003 Chevy S10 ZR2 as an upgrade to the stock CS130D. The AD244 style is a direct fit for the bracket on the V6 Vortec engines, and is a common upgrade for the S10 and related vehicles. I have 2 electric radiator fans and a bunch of electrical equipment, was definitely too much for a stock alternator. This upgrade was desperately needed and totally worth it, my gauge is solid at 14v and no flickering dash anymore, even with EVERYTHING turned on. When installing a high output alternator, make sure to do the Big 3 upgrade at the same time so you don't burn up your cables (Google is your friend). Also, for my V6 Vortec, I had to get a belt about 2 inches longer than the stock size to run this alternator properly with my tensioner, because the pulley sits higher than the stock CS130D does. I recommend doing the swap in an auto parts store parking lot so you can easily find the right belt. AutoZone was great for me, they let me test fit 4 different belts until we found the right length.

Summary:
Absolutely killer alternator, was having issues with my stock alternator not being able to keep up with my engine and lights need. Quick swap over from the factory Gm alternator to the Speedwaymotors High out put alternator and all my issues went away. Great build quality and product finish.
